Eddie Carter

Eddie Carter grew up in Vancouver, exploring the outdoors in Squamish and Whistler. After graduating from Bishop’s University, he worked in Whistler’s tourism industry before attending law school at the University of Saskatchewan.

Eddie moved to Squamish in 2010, articled locally, then practised at a boutique North Vancouver solicitors’ firm before joining Coast Mountain Law (formerly Race & Company LLP) in 2020, cutting his commute to spend more time in his adopted hometown. He holds the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). He enjoys helping clients buy their first home, grow their business, and plan their estates, especially where real estate is involved.

Outside work, Eddie coaches and plays hockey, nordic skis, backcountry snowboards, and mountain bikes. A proud member of the Squamish business community, he is a longtime director of the Downtown Squamish Business Improvement Association and spent five years as a volunteer firefighter with Squamish Fire Rescue.
